About The Team

CoverMyMeds' Product Team is looking for a Project Management Leader to lead and facilitate the execution of projects across our product. In this role, you will be working between multiple teams across product, technology, operations, and commercialization providing tailored project management, which includes being responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects and initiatives while ensuring the initiatives you are responsible for are on time, on budget, and stay within the agreed upon scope. In this role, you will be responsible for assuring project alignment to business goals; and communicating the vision in a way that motivates our teams to achieve the desired results.

What You'll Do

As a Project Management Leader your daily to-dos will shift with business needs, but here's a snapshot of what to expect:

  • Partner with Product leadership to execute on a product-led strategic initiative

  • Establish and communicate clear plans to effectively achieve expected results

  • Build and develop senior leader relationships; understand job responsibilities of other teams across the organization and effectively manages to those roles (e.g., technology, central strategy and business development)

  • Lead projects through issues and roadblocks while anticipating and managing business risks, mitigating those risks by highlighting critical issues to leadership early.

  • Ability to shift between the "big picture" and project level details. Can work through detailed issues when required.

  • Serve as a thought leader

  • Oversee and guide the work of other Project Managers partnered with you to deliver the outcomes of the work.

  • Regularly re-evaluate the progress of the initiative work to confirm it aligns with the broader product strategy.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for continual process improvement across projects

  • Project Management

  • Accountability and ownership of assigned projects to achieve project goals, including managing scope, timeline, and resources.

  • Perform basic project management administrative duties such as facilitating meetings, meeting agendas, project notes, and tracking action items.

  • Manage and control the project scope applying project change procedures when required.

  • Follow project management methodology and effectively utilizes standard project management tools.

  • Set, monitor, and report on key performance metrics to measure project success

  • People Leadership

  • Provide coaching, mentoring and performance feedback on goals to direct reports.

  • Manage resource availability and operations capacity to optimize project execution including contracted resources

  • Teach consistent application of project management and software development best practices, such as SAFe, CSM, PMI, CMMI.

Skills You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technical or Healthcare Related field.

  • PMP Certification a plus

  • 9+years project management experience

  • 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience

  • Detail oriented and highly organized

  • Works well in a team centered environment as well as the ability to work independently

  • Experience creating project plans and successfully driving them to completion

  • Ability to work through processes, remain organized, and manage complex matters/cases and multiple stakeholders both virtually and in-person

  • Ability to work proactively when anticipating issues and solving problems

  • Ability to quickly adapt to change and work in ambiguity while maintaining attention to detail

  • Strategic problem solving and decision-making ability

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally (written, listening, and verbal)

  • Ability to run successful program outcomes from idea to launch in multiple contexts, with competing stakeholder priorities

  • Passion and enthusiasm for people, results, and success

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$102,000 - $170,000
